Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or relevant clinical experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual communication tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Windows 10+ or macOS 14+ computer (no Chromebooks or Linux).
- Intel Core i5/AMD equivalent or Apple Silicon processor.
- 16 GB RAM.
- Wired headphones (no built-in mics).
- 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed with ethernet connection.
- Webcam required.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate medical appointments between patients and healthcare providers.
- Manage calendar appointments and send reminders to patients.
- Participate in RTM and RPM activities, including device setup, monitoring, and follow-up.
- Communicate with nurses and providers to address patient health-related issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including histories and treatment plans.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries and support.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and HIPAA privacy laws.
