Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare privacy, medical records, release-of-information, or health information management.
- 3+ years of experience managing/coordinating external audits, regulatory reviews, or oversight activities.
- 3+ years of experience interpreting regulatory, contractual, and operational requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health information management, compliance, or related field.
- Proven ability to collaborate with Legal and other business stakeholders.
- Strong and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Preferred: Master's degree, JD, or advanced training in healthcare law.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in telehealth, privacy, or behavioral health compliance.
- Preferred: Experience with medical records fulfillment vendors.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, EHR, or practice management platforms.
- Preferred: Compliance, privacy, audit, or health information management certification.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day medical records activities and operations.
- Oversee and manage vendor and team performance.
- Coordinate external audits from intake through findings and remediation closure.
- Partner with Legal, Privacy, Clinical, Financial Operations, and Partnership teams.
- Translate regulatory and contractual requirements into sustainable operational processes.
