Requirements
- Proven experience leading the design and delivery of large-scale, distributed systems.
- Strong backend expertise with Java or Kotlin preferred.

- Experience navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across stakeholders.
- Track record of technical leadership, including mentoring engineers.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and operational considerations like performance and reliability.
- Strong product and customer-oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience leveraging AI-based tools to improve engineering effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and delivery of complex, high-impact initiatives from concept through production.
- Own and evolve the architecture of critical systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Drive technical strategy to simplify systems and improve engineering velocity.
- Partner with Product and Design teams to translate ambiguous problems into actionable solutions.
- Act as a technical leader and mentor to improve engineering standards and practices.
- Establish best practices for code quality, testing, observability, and operational excellence.
- Identify and address system-wide performance bottlenecks and scaling challenges.
- Champion the adoption of AI and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
