Requirements
- Master's degree in business, energy systems, energy policy, engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in business, policy, or technology development.
- 3+ years of people management experience.
- Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives in mission-driven or professional environments.
- Experience building partnerships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and public speaking skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical topics for non-technical audiences.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
- Ability to collaborate in a virtual work environment.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a long-term strategy for CATF's Geothermal Program to accelerate commercialization.
- Translate strategic priorities into measurable outcomes through effective planning and resource allocation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of staff and consultants.
- Serve as a convener across industry, government, academia, and philanthropy.
- Advance policies, financing mechanisms, and market conditions to move geothermal technologies to deployment.
- Represent CATF as a public voice through media engagement, congressional testimony, and conference presentations.
- Cultivate international partnerships with governments and multilateral institutions.
- Partner with finance and development teams to manage multimillion-dollar budgets and secure funding.
