Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, auditing, compliance, or risk oversight.
- Experience within insurance operations or a similar regulated industry.
- Experience independently reviewing transactions, customer files, or operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, control weaknesses, and emerging risks.
- Experience providing constructive coaching and performance feedback.
- Understanding of risk management principles, compliance expectations, and quality control practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.
- Knowledge of audit methodologies and ability to interpret policies and regulations.
- Proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools, including Excel and Power BI.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a changing environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent quality audits of new business transactions, support activities, and operational processes using established audit methodologies.
- Review documentation, customer files, and policy records to assess compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements, and risk frameworks.
- Identify conduct risks, control gaps, and process weaknesses, escalating significant findings through governance channels.
- Provide clear, evidence-based feedback and recommendations to frontline teams and leaders.
- Support coaching initiatives by identifying performance improvement opportunities and quality expectations.
- Maintain accurate audit records, documentation, and reporting materials.
- Deliver insights that support business decisions and process optimization.
- Collaborate with operational leaders, compliance, and risk partners to strengthen quality awareness.
- Contribute to the development of audit tools, evaluation frameworks, and quality standards.
- Participate in calibration sessions to ensure consistency and fairness in reviews.
