Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise or data-driven environments.
- Strong expertise in Java or Python programming.
- Experience designing and developing SOAP and REST-based services.
- Hands-on experience working with AWS cloud environments and cloud-based application development.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, including PostgreSQL, preferably in AWS environments.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum.
- Experience implementing test-driven development practices.
- Strong understanding of XML technologies, including XML Schema, DTD, XSLT, XQuery, XPath, Unicode, and related data formats.
- Experience working with document formats such as PDF, TIFF, and structured content processing is preferred.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and enterprise application design.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Knowledge of intellectual property systems or related domains is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Design and develop cloud-based content ingestion and management systems using modern software engineering practices.
- Build and maintain applications capable of processing and managing large-scale datasets efficiently.
- Develop converters, processing routines, and services for complex text and image-based data formats.
- Create and maintain backend services, APIs, and enterprise applications using Java or Python.
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a focus on automation, reliability, and streamlined deployments.
- Collaborate with distributed Agile teams across different regions to deliver software enhancements and improvements.
- Apply software development best practices, including test-driven development, code quality standards, and scalable architecture principles.
- Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
