Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Minimum of 7+ years of relevant experience using standard costing with internal or outsourced contract manufacturing.
- Experience in biopharma is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience using advanced Excel functions for financial analyses, variance analysis, and product cost modeling.
- Deep knowledge of ERP system functionality and connecting operational transactions to accounting flows.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Superior people skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- CPA or CMA preferred.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and analyze standard cost accounting records for commercial supply chain inventory.
- Support standard costing of new product introductions for the US and ex-US markets.
- Lead continuous improvements to the cost accounting model and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Ensure inventory is properly valued on the balance sheet and manage required reserves.
- Support inventory master data, analyze transactions, and reconcile accounts.
- Represent Finance Operations to develop standardized inventory policies and procedures.
- Partner with Tax and international Finance to manage transfer pricing and profit eliminations.
- Manage annual 3PL physical inventory counts and CMO inventory confirmation.
- Support ERP system enhancements for company growth.
- Interact with auditors and ensure compliance with internal control procedures.
