10+ years of progressive corporate accounting or global AP/shared services experience, with at least 3+ years managing multi-entity or global AP and P2P accounting operations.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in Accounts Payable / P2P Accounting Operations.
  • 3+ years in a team leadership role.
  • Strong technical background in PO matching, invoice processing, and GL accrual reconciliations.
  • Proven experience working with NetSuite and modern procurement/intake tools (e.g., Zip, Coupa).
  • Expertise in multi-currency transactions, regional indirect taxes (VAT/GST), and international payment rails.
  • Experience operating within a public company or late-stage pre-IPO environment with mature internal controls.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Active CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Accounting lead for the Procure-to-Pay workflow in partnership with Procurement, FP&A, and business leaders.
  • Drive robust PO 2-way/3-way matching, invoice intake, vendor onboarding, and operational controls.
  • Oversee global disbursement cycles, payment operations, and banking administration in collaboration with Treasury.
  • Lead the strategic modernization and centralization of international Accounts Payable service delivery.
  • Ensure global AP operations adhere to statutory reporting, multi-currency processing, and regional transaction taxes.
  • Act as the primary Accounting change agent for P2P technology integrations (e.g., NetSuite, Coupa, Zip).
  • Establish and track AP performance metrics like invoice cycle times and accuracy.
  • Ensure AP subledgers are reconciled to support an accelerated month-end close and manage accrual governance.
  • Design and maintain internal controls aligned with SOX public-company readiness standards.
  • Build, mentor, and scale a global AP and operational accounting team.
