Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in an analytics or data function.
- 4+ years of people management experience.
- Strong track record of setting strategy and building analytical data models.
- Technical fluency in SQL and statistics fundamentals.
- Experience with dbt or similar transformation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Looker for business intelligence and reporting.
- Proven experience building analytical models that create lasting organizational value.
- Strong technical judgment regarding data structuring and consistent definitions.
- Clear, thoughtful perspective on applying AI within analytics functions.
- Strong leadership and communication skills for executive-level audiences.
- Ability to move from understanding data trends to identifying actionable business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Proactively analyze business performance across churn, retention, conversion, unit economics, and marketing analytics.
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for executive leadership.
- Define and lead the multi-year strategy for SQUIREās analytical data, including modeling, structure, and governance.
- Partner with Data Engineering to develop scalable and reliable analytical models.
- Set the strategy for AI-driven analytics and ensure data readiness for AI integration.
- Lead Looker as the primary business intelligence platform, overseeing dashboard strategy and self-service reporting.
- Establish metric definitions, quality standards, and governance practices.
- Manage the company's OKR process, performance readouts, and measurement cadences.
- Hire and develop a high-performing team across analytics engineering and business intelligence.
