Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional product marketing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in B2B fintech, financial services, or a highly regulated, complex-product industry.
  • Proven track record of zero-to-one GTM ownership, defining processes where none previously existed.
  • Demonstrated ability to build product positioning, messaging frameworks, and sales battlecards that are actively used in live sales deals.
  • Strong instinct for market resonance, identifying core value propositions versus fluff.
  • Experience partnering directly with Product teams to influence roadmap and feature readiness.
  • Excellent written communication skills with experience producing frameworks, briefs, and enablement materials.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments without a pre-existing team or playbook.
  • Ability to interpret customer conversations, win/loss data, and usage metrics to drive decision-making.
  • Bonus: Experience at a startup without a dedicated marketing leader.
  • Bonus: Previous individual contributor experience in SaaS Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success.

Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market strategy for all product releases, orchestrating the launch process between Product, Lifecycle Marketing, Support, and Operations.
  • Define and maintain competitive positioning and battlecards based on win/loss analysis and market research.
  • Create and manage the internal knowledge repository for product messaging, value propositions, and objection handling.
  • Partner with Product leadership to influence the roadmap by injecting customer and competitive signal into early-stage planning.
  • Equip Revenue teams (Sales, Partnerships, CS, Support) with effective training materials, case studies, and collateral.
  • Utilize data from sales calls, tool adoption, and market trends to prioritize messaging efforts and launch activities.
