Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, ideally full-stack, with a strong product ownership mindset.
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript is required.
- Solid backend experience in a modern language (e.g., Python, Go, Java/Kotlin, .NET, Node, Ruby).
- Proven experience building and scaling new products in a startup or scale-up environment.
- Experience building applications with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience operating applications in production, including monitoring, alerting, and on-call duties.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in multicultural, distributed teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and mentoring other engineers.
- Familiarity with using AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude Code, or Codex.
- Strong systems thinking with an eye for scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead and build features end-to-end from user research and design to architecture, deployment, and production monitoring.
- Partner closely with the product team to identify user problems and shape architectural and system solutions.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code using TypeScript/React and Ruby on Rails.
- Ensure service reliability by building resilient applications and participating in on-call incident response.
- Mentor team members and contribute to the advancement of engineering practices and standards.
