Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, threat finance, sanctions, investigations, or national security.
- Deep knowledge of Iran, including the IRGC, proxy networks, and sanctions evasion methods.
- Experience conducting blockchain investigations or cryptocurrency analysis.
- Background in intelligence agencies, government, law enforcement, or private-sector counter-threat-finance.
- Strong understanding of Iranian regional dynamics and financial networks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to independently manage complex investigations under time constraints.
- Experience with data analysis tools and blockchain intelligence platforms.
- Interest in leveraging AI tools for automation and research.
- Farsi language skills are highly valued; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with sanctions programs or published research in related areas is advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end attribution efforts for Iran-related crypto activity, identifying threat actors, financial networks, and infrastructure.
- Investigate and map Iranian networks using digital assets for laundering, transfers, and sanctions evasion.
- Lead rapid intelligence responses to major developments involving Iranian entities or infrastructure.
- Produce high-quality intelligence deliverables including reports, customer briefings, and advisory content.
- Represent the organization as a subject-matter expert in conferences, panels, and briefings.
- Define intelligence collection priorities by identifying data gaps and emerging threat behaviors.
- Translate investigative findings into detection strategies and product improvements.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to improve intelligence capabilities.
- Use AI-driven tools to scale research and solve analytical challenges.
- Mentor teammates to strengthen threat-finance practices.
