Requirements
- Approximately 5–8 years of professional experience in threat intelligence, security operations, incident response, or detection engineering.
- Strong understanding of cyberattack methods, attacker behaviors, and TTPs.
- Experience conducting detailed incident analysis, including identifying root causes and vulnerabilities.
- Proven ability to assess intelligence from multiple sources for credibility and relevance.
- Familiarity with malware analysis reports, automated sandboxing tools, and basic manual malware inspection.
- Strong technical writing skills for diverse audiences, including engineers and executives.
- Expertise in at least one technical domain such as data analysis, networking, OS, security controls, or programming.
- Experience mentoring colleagues and sharing technical knowledge.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and curate intelligence from open-source reporting, proprietary feeds, and internal incidents.
- Evaluate intelligence sources for credibility, relevance, and operational value.
- Analyze security incidents to identify root causes, attacker techniques, and emerging trends.
- Develop intelligence reports covering IOCs, TTPs, risks, and defensive recommendations.
- Communicate complex findings effectively to technical teams, leadership, and customers.
- Partner with security operations, detection engineering, and product teams to operationalize insights.
- Research new technologies and methodologies to enhance threat intelligence capabilities.
- Mentor developing analysts and provide subject matter expertise during complex investigations.
