Requirements
- 5-7+ years of experience in channel sales, distribution, or business development.
- Industry background in networking, physical security, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience managing key distributors such as ADI, Wesco/Anixter, KOA, or similar.
- Strong understanding of the B2B market with a 2-tier distribution model.
- Excellent closing skills and clear communication abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ownership mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience using CRM tools to track KPIs and pipeline.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data and trends.
- Willingness to travel for onsite meetings, training, and trade shows.
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue and growth through key security and low-voltage distributors across the U.S.
- Develop deep relationships with buyers, category managers, and regional sales leadership to align on product strategy.
- Execute joint business plans, promotions, and product launches to boost market share.
- Conduct regular QBRs, forecasting sessions, and sales reviews to ensure sales objectives are met.
- Build net new customers through training and education for consultants and installers.
- Provide product and sales training to distributor sales teams to increase sales enablement.
- Collaborate internally with Marketing, Product, and B2B Sales teams to align distributor activity.
