Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail category management, product strategy, business strategy, or related analytical roles.
- Experience working in e-commerce, technology, SaaS, or other fast-paced business environments.
- Proven ability to own initiatives from concept development through launch, execution, and optimization.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced proficiency with AI tools and Excel, including data modeling, financial analysis, and forecasting.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and presenting strategic recommendations to leadership teams.
- Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, product positioning, and customer-focused solutions.
- Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on support for pricing, deals, and operational decisions.
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
- Experience with business intelligence tools, analytics platforms, AI automation tools, or workflow optimization is preferred.
- Familiarity with insurance, underwriting, actuarial concepts, risk analysis, or retail pricing strategies is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead category-focused initiatives by gathering market insights, customer feedback, competitive intelligence, and internal learnings to develop effective go-to-market strategies.
- Manage assigned product categories and drive growth strategies that improve revenue performance and market positioning.
- Build and maintain category playbooks that enable sales and revenue teams with relevant insights, messaging, and strategic guidance.
- Develop and present go-to-market strategies aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and competitive dynamics.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing categories and evaluate opportunities for new markets or adjacent segments.
- Act as a strategic advisor for key accounts, supporting deal strategies, pricing discussions, and merchant growth initiatives.
- Influence product roadmap decisions by translating market research, customer feedback, and competitive analysis into actionable product recommendations.
- Contribute to long-term product strategy by identifying feature opportunities and improving product-market fit.
