Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in survey programming within market research, panel, or data collection environments.
- Advanced experience with survey programming platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer, or similar research technology tools.
- Strong understanding of online survey logic, scripting workflows, routing, quotas, and data collection processes.
- Proficiency in web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for survey customization and interface improvements.
- Experience with Python or XML is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and quality assurance skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve complex programming challenges.
- Experience collaborating with project managers, researchers, and client stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Program and script complex online surveys across multiple countries using advanced survey programming platforms.
- Translate client questionnaires and research requirements into functional survey designs, including logic, routing, quotas, and user experience considerations.
- Provide technical consulting on survey structure, best practices, and optimization opportunities.
- Perform comprehensive quality assurance testing to validate survey logic, skip patterns, quotas, translations, and device compatibility.
- Manage survey data structures and ensure accurate formatting for final delivery in formats such as SPSS, Excel, and CSV.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to scripting errors, tracking links, respondent flows, and live fieldwork challenges.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, researchers, and client teams to clarify requirements and provide technical updates.
- Ensure surveys are accessible, efficient, and designed to maximize data quality and respondent engagement.
- Continuously improve programming processes, tools, and delivery standards within the team.
