Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in sourcing or full-cycle recruiting, ideally in a startup or high-growth tech environment.
- Demonstrated experience sourcing for technical (engineering, product & design) roles across a variety of technology domains.
- Strong proficiency with sourcing tools and platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, and Boolean search.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
- Preferred: Experience sourcing at an early-stage or Series A-C startup.
- Preferred: AI-curious, specifically with experience building sourcing agents or leveraging AI for hiring outcomes.
- Preferred: Familiarity with modern engagement tools like Gem or Juicebox.
- Preferred: Experience building strategies for niche or hard-to-fill technical roles.
- Preferred: Prior experience partnering closely with founders or senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Head of Talent and Talent Intelligence Sourcing Lead to align on sourcing strategy and market insights.
- Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to build effective sourcing strategies across engineering, product, sales, and marketing.
- Proactively identify and engage passive candidates via platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, X/Twitter, and niche communities.
- Craft compelling, personalized outreach to generate high response rates.
- Screen candidates for competency and values alignment to increase funnel conversion.
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain data hygiene within the Ashby ATS.
- Continuously test new sourcing tools and techniques to improve pipeline speed and quality.
