Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Python as a primary language.
- Strong data modeling and schema design skills, including dimensional modeling and EDW/warehouse design.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining production ETL/ELT pipelines and SCD patterns.
- Proficiency with dbt for modular SQL transformations and testing.
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.).
- Experience building async REST APIs with FastAPI.
- Frontend development experience with Next.js (component architecture, SSR, state management).
- Strong PostgreSQL skills including schema design and query optimization.
- Proficiency in CI/CD and cloud deployment on AWS or Azure.
- Documented daily use of agentic AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
- Strong system design capability for architecting services and scale.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to business stakeholders in client-facing environments.
Responsibilities
- Own work end-to-end from discovery and solution shaping through system design, build, and production deployment.
- Design and build data foundations including data models, schema design, and ETL/ELT pipelines with SCD patterns.
- Build full-stack applications using Python/FastAPI and Next.js.
- Utilize AI coding agents like Claude Code or Cursor as primary build accelerators.
- Develop AI capabilities including RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, and LLM-in-the-loop processing.
- Orchestrate automation pipelines using tools like Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, or Temporal.
- Manage CI/CD and cloud deployments on AWS or Azure.
- Translate ambiguous client requirements into clear technical designs for both technical and business audiences.
