Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in accounting, tax, or finance operations.
- At least 5 years of experience owning a product, service line, or regional/global function end to end.
- Managing Director–level leadership experience with senior commercial and product gravitas.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, win rates, client retention, and expansion.
- Experience running a service-line P&L at scale, including management of cost-to-serve and pricing logic.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAP, tax legislation, and statutory reporting requirements across multiple regions.
- Proficiency in accounting platforms, specifically Xero, as well as ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks.
- Demonstrated experience in designing service standards and commercial pricing frameworks.
- Ability to lead and mentor senior delivery/product leaders across multiple international regions.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted tools and automation for scaling product quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the growth, revenue, and expansion strategy for the global Accounting & Tax (A&T) product.
- Serve as the senior client-facing product authority for strategic engagements, pitches, and escalations.
- Define commercial logic, packaging, and pricing frameworks to ensure profitable, scalable delivery.
- Lead and mentor global Regional Product Owners, process managers, and outsourcing control leads.
- Set global compliance, operating models, service definitions, and quality standards for A&T.
- Drive continuous improvement and the adoption of AI-assisted tools within the service.
- Manage product-level P&L, including cost-to-serve, productivity, and margin analysis.
