Requirements
- 3-4+ years in infrastructure support or support engineering roles.
- Deep service desk experience in structured, customer-facing environments.
- Working knowledge of GPU infrastructure, including nvidia-smi diagnostics.
- Hands-on hardware troubleshooting including reseating components and swap testing.
- Solid Linux working knowledge: CLI, systemd, filesystems, and permissions.
- Strong networking grasp: IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, routing, DNS, and firewalls.
- Experience with structured support processes such as ITIL.
- Foundational understanding of observability, using dashboards to identify symptoms.
- Basic scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Experience using Git for version control.
- Ability to travel to customer or company locations as needed.
Responsibilities
- Join the Support duty rotation to handle day-to-day tickets and alerts, escalating appropriately.
- Perform GPU node triage and hardware troubleshooting including interpreting nvidia-smi/DCGM output and physical remediation.
- Run fabric and link diagnostics using established runbooks and document evidence for vendor RMAs.
- Assist with storage and data-path investigations on high-performance platforms.
- Maintain source-of-truth accuracy across DCIM, inventory, and asset records.
- Identify opportunities for automation and contribute simple scripts to optimize processes.
- Participate in on-call and out-of-hours work when scheduled.
- Travel to Nscale or customer locations for deployments and operational tasks.
