Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 5-10 years of business systems analysis experience in a finance/accounting environment.
- Strong finance knowledge and working knowledge of GAAP standards.
- Experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Experience with process flow diagramming.
- Demonstrated experience working with and analyzing large sets of data.
- Strong facilitation and verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including working with large datasets.
- Strong Microsoft Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong relationship-building and client-facing experience.
- Insurance industry experience is a plus.
- Six Sigma and process standardization/improvement experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Interview stakeholders from different profit centers to identify current state finance workflows.
- Review workflows including invoicing, cash application, AR processing, AP procurement and management, monthly close and reporting, and treasury management.
- Perform requirements gathering and documentation.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and develop recommendations.
- Implement complex solutions in a fast-paced environment.
