Requirements
- 4-6+ years of product management experience with ownership of AppSec, platform security, or DevSecOps in SaaS/B2B.
- Deep working knowledge of AppSec practices (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, vulnerability management, threat modeling, API security, and secure SDLC).
- Proven ability to drive enterprise-tier security programs, risk-based prioritization, and remediation SLAs.
- Strong technical background (Computer Science preferred) with understanding of auth/authz, cryptography, and supply chain security.
- Experience shipping developer-facing security products or workflows such as CI/CD gates or security dashboards.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills across engineering and leadership.
- Proven ability to work independently in ambiguity.
Responsibilities
- Own the Application Security product strategy and multi-quarter roadmap.
- Build and ship core AppSec product surfaces, including AI-powered threat modeling and unified risk platforms.
- Prioritize critical risk surfaces across the platform.
- Define requirements, user stories, success metrics, and acceptance criteria.
- Drive execution with application security engineering, DevOps, architecture, and infoSec pods.
- Establish governance frameworks including severity, SLA, incident intake, and secure coding standards.
- Manage tool strategy and procurement, including risk justification and budget tradeoffs.
- Communicate risk, progress, and initiatives to engineering and executive stakeholders.
- Mentor partners and scale a Security Champions program.
