Requirements
- 4+ years in a client- or partner-facing role, supporting customers, partners, or technical products.
- 2+ years working at a payroll provider, payroll platform, HR technology or fintech company.
- Experience applying payroll knowledge to solve customer problems.
- Experience balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced support or operations environment.
- Strong investigative instincts and curiosity to understand root causes.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy.
- Experience collaborating across technical, operational, and administrative teams.
- Excellent written communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
- Experience using ticketing or case management systems (Zendesk preferred).
- Experience creating or improving internal documentation, SOPs, or operational processes.
- Willingness and availability to attend an annual 3-day company offsite each spring.
Responsibilities
- Manage a high volume of partner requests, primarily through written communication.
- Investigate complex payroll and tax issues, breaking problems down to trace root causes.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Tax, and Risk teams to escalate bugs and resolve issues.
- Surface patterns in partner questions and operational friction to improve documentation and product behavior.
- Build trusted relationships with enterprise partners through empathy and transparency.
- Create and maintain operational resources and internal documentation.
