Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Substantial professional experience designing, building, and evolving complex software systems.
- Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Kotlin, Rust, C++).
- Expertise in backend development for data-intensive applications.
- Experience working with databases such as Postgres or MySQL.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor junior engineers.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex, scalable software systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to drive technical direction.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers on best practices and technical growth.
- Implement new technologies and frameworks as a technical leader.
- Promote quality engineering through unit testing, refactoring, and CI/CD practices.
- Engage with customers to understand pain points and translate them into product improvements.
- Provide actionable code reviews and contribute to team acceleration through pair programming.
