Requirements
- 4-8 years in analytics roles, including 2+ years leading projects with cross-functional business stakeholders.
- 2+ years administering a Power BI or Microsoft Fabric environment, including workspace governance and deployment practices.
- Proven impact delivering analytics in complex environments with measurable business outcomes.
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and Power BI: data modeling, DAX, Power Query, semantic models, and calculation groups.
- Statistical and financial analytics expertise, including analysis design and interpretation.
- Expert proficiency in writing production-level SQL with query optimization.
- Knowledge of AI-assisted analytics development and tools.
- Proficiency with versioning and reproducibility using Git-based workflows.
- Proficiency in R to create reproducible workflows, conduct statistical testing, and develop models.
- Strong executive storytelling and stakeholder partnership skills.
- Product mindset focused on defining problem statements and success metrics.
Responsibilities
- Support Power BI administration, including workspace governance, access management, deployment practices, and platform standards.
- Architect and publish trusted Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dashboards using DAX and Power Query.
- Champion BI development standards including naming conventions, documentation, and release practices.
- Support high-impact analytics initiatives from problem framing through delivery.
- Develop analytics products and solutions using Databricks, dbt, custom scripting, and BI tools.
- Build performant Databricks workflows to wrangle large datasets, engineer features, and automate recurring analyses.
- Partner with Data Engineering to design scalable data solutions and ensure reliable data foundations.
- Own analysis quality through data validation, experiment design, and documentation.
- Define and monitor KPIs tying operational reporting directly to business objectives.
