- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Active board certification in Family Medicine
- At least 5 years of clinical practice experience post-residency
- Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine
- Active medical licenses in at least one of CA, TX, or FL, plus 5 additional state licenses
- Eligibility for expedited licensure through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) in 5 additional states preferred
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed
- Understanding of regulatory and documentation requirements related to physician collaboration and supervision of Advanced Practice Providers
- Comfort navigating telehealth platforms and EMR systems
- Ability to work independently and manage high volume of patient interactions
- Reliable high-speed internet access for remote work
- Availability to work weekends and assigned holidays
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive virtual assessments, diagnoses, and evidence-based treatment planning for patients across various ages and backgrounds
- Manage and coordinate care for chronic conditions and provide preventive care and wellness counseling
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab results, and prescribe medications per regulations
- Document patient encounters and communications thoroughly in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Serve as a collaborating physician for assigned Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight and mentorship
- Meet performance standards related to patient satisfaction, documentation, and clinical quality metrics
