Requirements
- Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of experience in Business-to-Business (B2B) sales.
- Prior experience in Class 6 ~ Class 8 truck sales or electric vehicle (EV) truck sales preferred.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles and methodologies, including product presentation, promotion, demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales management systems.
- Experience negotiating contracts and influencing stakeholders to achieve positive business outcomes.
- Proven experience analyzing data, tracking performance metrics, and generating reports.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows–based applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the United States up to 70%.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain resourceful with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Expand existing accounts, develop new business opportunities, and build a strong account portfolio across the assigned territory.
- Grow business with port customers, fleet management companies (FMCs), large enterprises, and customers specializing in distribution centers, terminals, and refuse truck operations.
- Develop, direct, and execute regional sales plans and strategies to improve profitability and service levels.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals.
- Lead contract negotiations with prospective and existing customers.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to assess sales potential, customer preferences, and inventory requirements.
- Represent the company at trade association meetings, conferences, and expos.
