Requirements
- Hands-on experience leading database migrations and legacy system modernizations.
- Deep expertise in SQL Server 2012 and legacy SQL environment troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Windows Server 2012/2016 backup, restore, and system administration.
- Experience with dependency mapping, including stored procedures, jobs, and logins.
- Expertise in Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline automation.
- Working knowledge of IaC tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
- Strong skills in Azure platform components including Azure SQL, Key Vault, RBAC, and Networking.
- Strong C1 English language proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Analyze legacy database objects including stored procedures, agent jobs, linked servers, and permissions.
- Execute end-to-end migrations from legacy SQL Server environments to Azure SQL or Managed Instances.
- Perform SQL profiling, tracing, and data integrity validation during the migration process.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code to provision Azure landing zones.
- Implement and document controlled decommissioning plans for legacy Windows Server 2012/2016 hosts.
