Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake in real implementation projects.
- Practical experience with dbt in production environments.
- Solid knowledge of AWS services including S3, IAM, and EC2.
- Proficiency in Python for data extraction, automation, and tooling.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines including code reviews.
- Knowledge of English at minimum B2 level.
- Working experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Strong communication skills.
- Eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Experience with data warehouse migration and modernisation projects is a plus.
- Knowledge of Apache Airflow is a plus.
- Knowledge of Teradata (BTEQ, stored procedures) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Support migration of enterprise data warehouse from Teradata and Informatica to Snowflake on AWS.
- Develop and maintain data transformation pipelines using dbt in a production environment.
- Build data extraction and ingestion processes with Python and dlt.
- Create and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs to orchestrate end-to-end data workflows.
- Perform source analysis, data modelling, conversion, and parity testing.
- Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality, production-ready solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools like Cortex Code CLI for code conversion.
- Collaborate with solution architects and client stakeholders to deliver scalable cloud data platform solutions.
