Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Eight or more years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture roles.
- Deep expertise designing cloud-native solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security primitives.
- Experience with cloud migration, modernization, and platform consolidation programs.
- Strong understanding of containerization, serverless, and managed data services.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience producing formal architecture artifacts and presenting them to senior leadership.
- Track record of leading architecture reviews and influencing engineering direction.
- Cloud architecture certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Responsibilities
- Design and govern cloud-native solutions across compute, networking, data, identity, and security domains.
- Partner with business stakeholders, security architects, and engineering teams to translate strategic objectives into architectures.
- Deliver pragmatic, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Balance technical trade-offs including time-to-market, cost, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Produce formal architecture artifacts and present them to senior leadership.
- Lead architecture reviews and influence engineering direction.
