Requirements
- 10+ years of experience applying data science or statistical modeling to real-world problems.
- 3+ years in a technical lead or senior-most individual contributor role.
- Deep expertise in reliability/survival analysis, time-series analysis, anomaly detection, or causal/observational inference.
- Strong proficiency in production-quality Python, SQL, and modern data stack tools.
- Proven track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact projects end-to-end.
- Experience managing complex, multi-modal operational data such as sensor, telemetry, and log streams.
- Ability to drive technical alignment across cross-functional engineering, manufacturing, and business stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring and growing individual contributors.
Responsibilities
- Build models predicting mean time between failures (MTBF) and remaining useful life for robot components.
- Analyze telemetry and logs to identify correlations between software versions, site conditions, and intervention rates.
- Develop root-cause and anomaly detection tooling to accelerate troubleshooting.
- Join end-of-line test data with field performance to optimize manufacturing quality and reduce failures.
- Define success metrics and dashboards for Robots-as-a-Service (RaaS) deployments.
- Develop experimentation frameworks for safe fleet-wide software/firmware rollouts.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define data instrumentation and logging strategies.
