Requirements
- 1+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably in backend development, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or a similar programming language.
- Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, clean code practices, testing, and debugging.
- Interest in learning cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity or interest in databases, streaming systems, orchestration tools, and data-intensive applications.
- Experience with technologies such as PostgreSQL, OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, Redis, or RocksDB is a plus.
- Exposure to large-scale systems or data platforms is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and curiosity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of core components within a scalable data platform.
- Build software tools and services that simplify the adoption and operation of data infrastructure.
- Help automate infrastructure processes to improve system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Support the development of solutions using modern data technologies, distributed systems, and AI-powered engineering tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to address scalability, reliability, and operational challenges.
- Take ownership of assigned projects, delivering features and improvements with support from senior engineers.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Learn and apply technologies across databases, streaming platforms, cloud infrastructure, and data orchestration systems.
