Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant professional accounting experience.
- Strong technical proficiency in office software and relevant computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated learning agility for new technologies and procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of University and unit-level financial policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare complex balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Analyze current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to project future financial performance.
- Oversee, mentor, and assist lower-level accountants.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Prepare financial reports for taxes, regulatory agencies, and stockholders.
- Reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.
