Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in backend architecture and development, including backend services and automated testing.
- Solid mastery of object-oriented design.
- Proficiency in one or more languages from the stack: Go, Java, or Python (PHP experience is also acknowledged).
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Podman.
- Solid experience in building RESTful APIs.
- Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Experience developing and deploying applications on cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
- English language proficiency at B2 level for documentation, presentations, and meetings.
- French language proficiency is required for daily team collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend systems via REST APIs, focusing on DRM and content configuration.
- Build and improve video processing systems, including scheduling and state machines for raw video uploads.
- Develop and maintain efficient, scalable, and resilient video upload systems.
- Apply analytical skills to Big Data challenges at the scale of multiple petabytes.
- Proactively propose evolutions and technical improvements to the video platform.
