Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience leading significant mobile initiatives using React Native or native (Swift/Kotlin).
- Proficiency in working with JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience shipping web applications using declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with a global team.
- Ability to define technical plans for significant features with extensible designs.
- Experience implementing experimentation, feature flagging, and analytics instrumentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals for the Acquisition & Onboarding team.
- Lead engineers through ambiguity to solve complex open-ended technical problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics stakeholders throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Ensure system operational excellence, reliability, and availability by managing monitoring, triage, and on-call efforts.
- Identify and solve project, process, or technology issues while advocating for technical improvements.
- Foster a culture of quality by establishing and improving code review and design standards.
- Provide feedback and guidance to develop talent within the team.
