Requirements
- Valid mechanic’s license 310S or 310T.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automotive or truck repair.
- Bilingual (English/French) proficiency.
- Ability to work flexible shifts between 6:00am and 10:00pm.
- Professional image, strong work ethic, and accountability for working in a fully remote environment.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a contact center setting (Asset).
- Post-secondary education, such as a college diploma, certificate, or apprenticeship (Asset).
- Proficiency in MS Office programs, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Asset).
- ASE certification or willingness to obtain it within the established timeline (Asset).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support grounded in real-world automotive mechanical experience.
- Assess the necessity, scope, and accuracy of recommended repairs based on industry standards and hands-on experience.
- Ensure repair and maintenance work is performed appropriately and priced fairly.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings through technical review and negotiate repairs as appropriate.
- Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are technically sound and consistently followed.
- Maintain individual performance metrics at or above established goals.
- Adapt to operational changes while maintaining professionalism and a solution-focused approach under pressure.
