Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, information technology, information science, or a related field.
- 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience with software quality assurance and/or testing.
- 4 years of experience creating automation test suites for regression testing using Java or JavaScript.
- 4 years of experience designing and creating test automation scripts for API testing (using Postman, Java, or JavaScript).
- 4 years of experience building generic custom utility classes using Java or JavaScript.
- 4 years of experience in critical thinking, problem-solving, and analysis.
- 4 years of experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and version control like Git.
- 4 years of hands-on experience with front-end automation tools such as Cypress or Selenium.
- 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA/Confluence.
- 2 years of experience designing and creating test cases for parallel testing using Java multithreading.
- 2 years of experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Design and create test deliverables such as test plans, strategies, cases, and scripts based on business and data requirements.
- Develop robust test automation frameworks from scratch and improve existing ones using OOP concepts.
- Create and maintain effective automation test suites for regression testing using Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Perform diverse testing types, including black box, white box, integration, regression, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure the performance, security, and reliability of database management systems and software APIs.
- Translate high-level business requirements into actionable test scenarios and maintain requirement traceability matrices.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to practice TDD and conduct risk mitigation discussions.
