Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience leading significant mobile initiatives using React Native or native technologies (Swift/Kotlin).
- Proficiency in building web applications with declarative UI frameworks like React or Vue.
- Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and scaling backend systems using Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Experience implementing experimentation, feature flagging, and analytics in mobile apps.
- Ability to define technical strategy for significant features with an elegant and extensible design.
- Experience managing large codebases safely with appropriate tooling and practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly goals while leading engineers through complex, open-ended problems.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics teams through the full development lifecycle.
- Maintain high operational availability through robust monitoring, triage, and on-call support.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical, process, or business issues.
- Improve team standards for code review, design, and developer tooling.
- Mentor and develop talent within the team through feedback and leadership.
