Requirements
- Proven experience owning a product area in insurtech, B2B SaaS, or a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated track record of driving product adoption, not just launches.
- Experience owning product workflows redesigned by AI, including managing human-in-the-loop decisions.
- Technical fluency sufficient to understand system boundaries, data flows, and engineering trade-offs.
- Comfort using AI tools in daily workflows.
- Strong ability to translate between business stakeholders and engineers.
- Domain curiosity and willingness to learn the Managing General Agent (MGA) model.
- Strong influence without authority and a high degree of Emotional Quotient (EQ).
- Experience working with distributed, remote teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the roadmap and business outcomes for a Pod, tracking metrics and reporting progress.
- Discover problems worth solving by engaging directly with brokers, carriers, and customers.
- Translate business intent into launchable initiatives and defend prioritization.
- Write high-level product requirements to facilitate sizing, staffing, and planning.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Lead to define system-level technical requirements.
- Lead product reviews to ensure initiatives solve the right problems and fit the defined scope.
- Redesign workflows using AI, including designing fallbacks and feedback loops.
- Drive feature adoption through documentation, training, and ongoing usage monitoring.
