Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience in software and data engineering with production systems.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding agents in daily development.
- Strong experience building event-driven architectures and distributed data pipelines.
- Deep experience modeling transactional and behavioral datasets.
- Understanding of data requirements for agentic systems, including grounding and decision traceability.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with distributed/cloud-native systems (AWS or GCP).
- Experience with analytics databases like ClickHouse.
- Experience designing systems requiring replayability, correctness, and observability.
- Comfort working within a TypeScript/Node.js backend ecosystem.
- Startup mindset with ability to own ambiguous, high-impact domains.
Responsibilities
- Design and own canonical data models across transactions, subscriptions, and merchant behavior.
- Build event-driven pipelines that transform operational data into structured, replayable intelligence with strong guarantees for validation and idempotency.
- Design low-latency data layers and data contracts to power autonomous routing and checkout optimization agents.
- Create outcome-tracking and feedback pipelines to enable continuous system learning and optimization.
- Develop feature-ready datasets and behavioral schemas to support predictive systems and feature stores.
- Collaborate with checkout, payments, and AI teams to translate business problems into data-driven signals.
