Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in real estate law, title, or transactional support.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; Paralegal certificate strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience drafting deeds in multiple U.S. jurisdictions.
- Familiarity with entity structures (LLCs, corporations, trusts) and authority documentation.
- Experience with large portfolio or high-volume transactions.
- Familiarity with e-recording platforms (e.g., Simplifile, CSC, ePN).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Experience with title/closing software preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent transactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and finalize a wide range of deeds, including warranty, quitclaim, special warranty, trustee deeds, and corrective instruments.
- Analyze title commitments, legal descriptions, surveys, and prior conveyance documents for accuracy.
- Research state-specific recording requirements, transfer taxes, and jurisdictional nuances.
- Manage deed execution logistics, including remote notarization, witnesses, apostilles, and recording submissions.
- Review and resolve title objections, vesting discrepancies, and legal description issues.
- Track recording confirmations and maintain organized transaction files.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
