Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
- 1+ year of experience in mortgage servicing, default servicing, post-sale conveyance, or title operations.
- Understanding of lender-to-HUD/VA, deed recording, and title transfer processes.
- Ability to review legal descriptions, vesting, and state/county-specific documentation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage high-volume pipelines and prioritize deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and document management systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail in reviewing documents for accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage assigned conveyance deed files from post-sale request through execution and recording.
- Prepare, order, and review lender-to-HUD and lender-to-VA conveyance deeds.
- Verify legal descriptions, vesting, fees, transfer taxes, and recording requirements.
- Complete necessary state, county, and municipality-specific recording forms and affidavits.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and county offices to resolve title or documentation issues.
- Maintain accurate records in company or client systems and monitor milestone updates.
- Escalate delays, exceptions, or recording rejections to management.
