- At least 3 years of post-graduate experience
Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- At least three years of postgraduate clinical experience.
- Background in critical care and/or mental health nursing.
- Experience in emergency nursing, psychiatric nursing, or mental health triage.
- Strong clinical assessment, patient triage, and risk assessment skills.
- Confidence making decisions and working independently in a remote clinical role.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work three to four weekdays each week.
- Interest in mental health and comfort working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to learn new technology.
Responsibilities
- Screen and triage people joining the service.
- Conduct clinical reviews and check-ins via telehealth.
- Complete clinical assessments and risk assessments.
- Respond to clinical escalations from the Customer Care team.
- Identify when someone needs further review or escalation.
- Work closely with GPs and psychiatrists.
- Document assessments clearly and keep the wider care team informed.
- Help improve clinical processes and telehealth software through feedback.
