Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering, distributed systems, infrastructure, or platform/SRE roles.
- Track record of building scalable systems that other teams depend on.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, progressive delivery, rollback, and migration safety.
- Experience with observability, SLOs, and incident response.
- Proficiency in developing and operating services in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with implementing platform-level security guardrails and data-access controls.
- Strong software engineering skills with an ability to write maintainable code.
- Experience debugging distributed systems.
- Ability to explain technical ideas clearly and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and operate shared platform primitives such as authorization, routing, secure logging, and observability.
- Manage reliability and change-safety systems including CI/CD gates, progressive delivery, and rollback automation.
- Implement platform-level security defaults, policy enforcement, and auditability frameworks.
- Execute global delivery strategies including region pinning, routing, and data residency-aware behavior.
- Establish SLOs, alerting standards, and incident response runbooks.
- Build internal developer platforms with service templates and standard deployment patterns.
- Develop automation infrastructure for engineering governance and human-in-control workflows.
