Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field with 8+ years experience, or Master’s with 6+ years.
- Strong hands-on experience securing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Microsoft Azure.
- Deep understanding of cloud security fundamentals (IAM, networking, logging, encryption, identity management).
- Experience with CNAPP tools such as Wiz.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and infrastructure-as-code integration into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience managing vulnerability programs.
- Familiarity with data security (DLP, sensitive data discovery) and identity platforms (Okta, Google Workspace).
- Experience with SIEM solutions such as Chronicle.
- Strong scripting and automation skills using Python.
- Experience working with AI tools and agents.
Responsibilities
- Own cloud security initiatives across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, leading projects from design through implementation.
- Strengthen cloud security posture by managing CNAPP capabilities and driving remediation efforts.
- Embed security controls into infrastructure workflows using Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and security-as-code practices.
- Lead vulnerability management activities, including identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating remediation.
- Enhance data and endpoint protection through data loss prevention, endpoint detection, and identity management solutions.
- Develop and improve threat detection capabilities using SIEM platforms like Chronicle.
- Mentor engineers and promote security awareness through collaboration and knowledge sharing.
