Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building real software.
- Backend development experience in Node.js/TypeScript or Python.
- Experience building on top of LLMs with understanding of common challenges like context management and tool accuracy.
- Curious and self-directed mindset with the ability to handle loosely defined problems.
- Desire to build tools for the Apify platform and focus on user experience.
- Good communication skills in English.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the Apify MCP Server to convert thousands of Actors into tools for agents.
- Manage server infrastructure, including handling stateless transports, authorization hardening, and tool discovery.
- Develop and refine the Apify AI agent runtime, tooling, and execution capabilities.
- Enable autonomous agents to discover and facilitate payments for Apify tools.
- Create evaluation frameworks using production traces to automate testing and prevent regressions in CI.
