Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in public policy, environmental studies, engineering, international relations, communications, or related field.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in energy, defense, or homeland security.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clearly and proofread client-facing materials.
- Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
- Strong capacity to manage multiple tasks and coordinate project timelines independently.
- Proven track record of adaptability and collaborative engagement in a remote, dynamic team environment.
- Self-motivated, curious, and resourceful problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on emerging energy technologies and practices.
- Analyze federal, state, and local energy policies and utility regulatory proceedings.
- Draft high-quality client deliverables, including strategic reports, white papers, and technical briefing decks.
- Provide administrative and coordination support for meeting preparation and task tracking.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops using industry-standard tools.
- Engage and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders including military officials and government representatives.
