Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building web platforms with proven Staff-level technical impact.
- Strong hands-on experience building AI/LLM-powered systems, specifically with agentic systems, orchestration, or autonomous workflows.
- Expert-level proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js.
- Deep professional experience with React or Angular.
- Strong expertise in API and systems design.
- Strong experience with testing (unit, integration, and E2E).
- Strong data modeling capabilities across relational, document, and cache systems.
- Operational mindset focused on system reliability, scale, and performance.
- High level of ownership and a strong builder mentality.
- Experience with Shopify or Liquid templating preferred.
- Experience building CMS or page-builder systems preferred.
- Experience with high-performance rendering systems (SSR, streaming) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop an agentic page builder, including component frameworks, rendering pipelines, and template engines.
- Build and scale AI infrastructure for agent orchestration, tool calling, and schema-constrained generation.
- Drive architectural decisions for API contracts, service boundaries, and complex data modeling.
- Develop autonomous deployment and optimization pipelines for storefront pages.
- Own performance-critical systems including SSR, streaming, CDN caching, and Core Web Vitals.
- Ensure platform reliability through observability, tracing, SLOs, and incident response.
