Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven expertise in Python.
- Strong command of Django (preferred) or other modern web frameworks like FastAPI or Flask.
- Strong fluency with SQL and relational databases including PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Hands-on experience deploying and managing backend architectures on AWS.
- Practical experience with computer vision frameworks like OpenCV, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Experience applying software engineering best practices such as unit testing, CI/CD, and Git workflows.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical design discussions and software engineering teams.
- Experience conducting code reviews.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and maintain highly scalable and secure backend services and APIs using Python web frameworks.
- Integrate computer vision models and pipelines into core backend workflows with a focus on optimization.
- Design, query, and optimize relational SQL databases for performance and data integrity.
- Deploy, scale, and manage backend services on AWS while ensuring secure pipeline development.
- Lead technical design discussions, write clean code, and mentor junior and mid-level team members.
- Bridge the gap between AI research and production by assisting in MLOps integration and automation.
