Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in quality assurance.
- Must have prior experience working as a quality lead for large, complex projects.
- Experience developing requirements traceability matrices.
- Prior commercial nuclear industry experience.
- Knowledge of ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10 CFR 21.
- Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section III, Division 1.
- Strong technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage complex projects.
- Ability to travel locally and nationally as required for business needs.
- Strong preference for experience with ISO 9001 and other international quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Interact with project teams and management to manage cross-functional quality interfaces.
- Provide input and support on a wide spectrum of quality and process-related solutions.
- Support and coordinate quality responses to customer Requests for Information and marketing activities.
- Develop quality requirements traceability matrices and incorporate them into project activities.
- Manage first-of-a-kind issues and interface with planners to ensure quality activities are accounted for in work management plans.
- Proactively identify and resolve project issues and anticipated challenges.
- Provide direction and coordinate project-related activities through quality leads, supervisors, and managers.
- Develop and maintain processes and procedures for efficient execution of quality project activities.
- Support project risk assessment and mitigation activities.
